STUDIO

photo-for-website.jpg

The ‘Boathouse’ studio was built in 2003-2004, on the site of an early nineteenth century parkland structure. It is built of brick with an oak frame, under a roof of Norfolk thatch. Windows on two sides look out over a 30 acre lake, a designated Site of Special Scientific Interest with spectacular birdlife. In 2004, the studio received several awards, including the Royal Institute of British Architects Heritage Award, for a new building in a historic context.
